A Must See! Now a Major Motion Film Festival!
You won't want to miss The First Annual Northeastern Pennsylvania Jewish Film Festival, Saturday evening and Sunday, October 20th and 21st, 2007 at the Mellow Theater, Lackawanna College, 501 Vine Street, Scranton, PA 18509
United States of America..
Truly international in nature, the six award-winning films being shown on Saturday evening and all day Sunday, October 20th and 21st, 2007, originate from five countries.
Of course, a film festival is about much more than movie-watching. We’ll have fascinating discussions and lectures, as well as celebrities and stars including Richard Berge, the director/producer/writer of "Rape of Europa," Harvey Chertok, the producer of "The Impossible Spy," and a surprise famous star, Eli Wallach with his wife, Anne Jackson, who will be given the Northeastern Pennsylvania Jewish Film Festival
Lifetime Achievement Award.
And, we’ll party, too, with gourmet Kosher and Kosher-style food catered by Supreme Cuisine. Saturday afternoon, the Everhart Museum will host a cocktail reception to celebrate the opening of the festival and their sponsorship of "Rape of Europa." Sunday dinner will be a gala affair of diverse ethnic foods at the Scranton Cultural Center.
