Film, Constantine's Sword. This personal narrative and study of intolerance, based on the acclaimed book by James Carroll, will be presented in partnership with the Office of Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Affairs of the Diocese of Scranton. Speakers will include the film's award-winning director Oren Jacoby; Reverend John Palikowski, O.S.M., PhD, Professor of Social Ethics, Catholic Theological Seminary, Chicago (who also appears in the film); and Rabbi Jan Katzew, PhD, Director of Lifelong Jewish Learning, Union for Reform Judaism. Moderator: Jane Oppenheim

Guests of Honor-Oren Jacoby, Director, Rev. John Palikowski, Rabbi Jan Katzew, Reverend Philip Altavilla. An elegant Dessert Reception celebration will cap the evening. Opening Night Committee includes Jane Oppenheim, Chairman; Special Events Chairman, Gloria Feibus; Reception Chairman, Faye Rosenberg; and Event Designer, Ellen Beechko, Apricot Studio, and Volunteer Chairman Susie Jacobson. 6:00 PM Closing Night Gala Dinner in honor of Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Theodore Bikel
Under the direction of Ellen Beechko, the Ballroom of the Scranton Cultural Center will once again be transformed into a magical setting worthy of a Vanity Fair Oscar party. The Gala will be chaired by Sondra and Morey Myers in honor of their friend Theo Bikel. The international dinner will be catered by Prestige Caterers of New York and will be glatt kosher. Advance reservations are required for the dinner. Tickets for this event are available at the Ticket Box Office.
